Nivin Pauly and the team behind the Baby Girl Movie are challenging traditional cinematic norms, according to producer Listin Stephen. In this exclusive footage from the trailer launch event, the Magic Frames head addresses why marketing this medical thriller has been a unique challenge for the production house.

Speaking to the media and fans, Listin Stephen emphasized that Baby Girl is a film defined by its “totality” rather than a singular star vehicle. He noted that while Nivin Pauly leads the cast as hospital attendant Sanal Mathew, the team made a conscious decision not to project him as a conventional “action hero” in the promotions. Doing so, he explained, would send a “wrong message” to the audience about the film’s gritty, realistic tone.

Directed by Arun Varma and scripted by the legendary Bobby-Sanjay, the film aims to replicate the emotional and narrative depth of classics like Traffic.
