He recalls a moment during the shoot of Kannur Squad where he stood in the background, watching Mammootty and wishing for a chance to perform a significant role alongside him.

The highlight is his story about how he landed the role in Kalamkaval. After director Haneef Adeni suggested he send his PhonePe ad to Mammootty, Gibin sent a long, heartfelt “essay” introducing himself. The Megastar’s reply? A classic “👍” (Thumbs Up) emoji!
