In a detailed press briefing, the representative from the distribution team addressed the viral concerns regarding the film’s shift from a ₹7 crore opening to ₹4 crore on the subsequent day.

The distributor highlighted that the primary factor for this shift was the global release of the Hollywood behemoth Avatar: Fire and Ash, which led to a strategic reallocation of approximately 93 screens across Kerala. Furthermore, the opening day benefited from massive fan enthusiasm, including 8:00 AM special screenings and over 250 late-night shows, whereas the second day followed a standard 10:00 AM schedule. Despite the narrative of a “dip,” the film remains Dileep’s most successful post-pandemic venture, crossing significant milestones in its initial two-week theatrical run.
