Veteran filmmaker Vinayan shares an intimate, exclusive story from the past at the Rachel trailer launch. He details how Honey Rose, driven by passion, approached him, wanting to become a heroine. He recalls the location where they met, near the house used in his film Meera’s Dukham Muthuvinte Swapnam.

Vinayan explains that she kept in touch, followed up, and eventually, the opportunity arose to cast her in his 2005 film, Boyy Friennd, launching her career alongside Manikuttan. The clip contrasts her raw beginning with her current star status at the Rachel event. This narrative highlights the importance of perseverance in the Malayalam film industry.
