Actor Riyaz Khan shares a hilarious behind-the-scenes story from the sets of ‘Balettan’. Despite not knowing how to read or write Malayalam, he was given a 6-page dialogue just before the climax scene with Mohanlal!

During the ‘Sree Ayyappan’ movie press meet, Riyaz Khan took a trip down memory lane to his first major Malayalam film, ‘Balettan’. He recalls how Assistant Director Govindankutty handed him a massive script for the climax scene and left him alone for two hours.

The funny twist? Riyaz Khan didn’t know a word of Malayalam script! When called for the shot, he had to confess to Director Lal Jose and Superstar Mohanlal that the paper was useless to him. Watch the video to hear how he managed to pull off that iconic scene.
